This too shall pass.

This past week has been a difficult one for us ladies. Many rapid changes to our day-to-day lives have happened and it is normal for anxiety and stress levels to rise. With increased feelings of uncertainty, I remind myself and my readers that as with other difficult moments in our lives that have come before this one, this too shall pass. Seek your answers in the struggle my friends. All difficult moments in our lives offer the gift of lessons learned. What is coming up for you? What are you beginning to learn?

On social media I have been speaking a lot about positivity as a strategy, as well as using grounding and breathing practices to quell anxiety and increase a sense of calm.

Another strategy is to do a little planning ahead. Many of my clients and social media followers have been expressing concerns about how to maintain good nutrition intake with fears about limited supplies on grocery store shelves. So I have prepared a document below where I have outlined shelf-stable sources of all three essential macronutrients. Making sure you have some of these ingredients on hand in the pantry can help to reduce anxiety and worry about your meals, and will also ensure that you can always put a healthy meal together in a pinch.

Stay well my dear friends.

In hope and trust that better days are on the horizon,

Your Mindful Dietitian (Stephanie)
